The Kardashian Collection @ Bebe

Ok, yall know Bebe is one of my favorite stores! I know it isn’t Gucci, Louis or Prada. As a matter of fact they do “knock off” versions of most of the hi-end hot items. But they do a damn GOOD “knock-off” because it doesn’t look cheap (hell, it aint really cheap! It’s just cheaper. My Balmain re-do’s….I paid $180 instead of $1500. Later, you could’ve found a horrific version for like $40.) I feel like Bebe is a “Middle Class Fly Chick’s Oasis”

Well the Kardashian sisters have teamed up with Bebe and made a collection. I’ve gotta say, the pieces are really cute and I see them in it for sure! Here are my 3 favorite looks.

Wipe Me Down

OMG, I think I just had a moment! These Bebe Croc Booties are siiiiiickening! I already love booties, but these babies have a 6″ heel and 1.5″ platform. Meaning the ass-n-legs will pop like nobody’s biz. These’ll look good with jeans, a mini dress, or….whatever I.Will.Be.Copping. Annnd I just got another Bebe rewards offer, too?! (cause I buy a little often) Oh yeah, mine mine mine!

Today I went to bebe.com to buy these new platform pumps they have in their catalog…

…and the bad boys weren’t even available yet!!!  (in a Stephanie Tanner voice) How rude!  Why, oh why send me a catalog and a VIP savings card just to taunt me with something I can’t have?!  *tears*  I wanted to wear them when I sing next week.  Oh wells, I can practice a little patience.  They have some other ish I want, too, but I guess I’ll be waiting for them, too.

That New-New, That Lukewarm Ish, and That Wish List

We met a long time ago.  Lived on opposite coasts.  He, much younger than me.  All those things added up to a “not a chance!” in my head.  But here it is, 3 years later, we never fell out of touch, and that “no way” is now transforming into a “…maybe?”  It’s funny how life takes people, places and things that we think are constant and makes them fade away.  And then a person, place or thing that we think will never happen…boom….it kinda lands in your lap when you least expect it.  I’m not exactly mad at it   We’ll see how this develops.  My life is all about going with the flow, man.

On another note, today I decided I’d check out all the beat submissions for the Melrose project.  I created a specific email addy for people that I don’t know to send beats to, and to be honest, I’ve been afraid to listen.  For whatever reason.  But I’ve been getting a bunch of myspace emails like “Yo, what did you think of the music?!”  so I figured I needed to actually put ears to them.  About 50 tracks later….not one grabbed me   How sad!  I mean, maybe I’m getting too picky (yeah, right, there’s no such thing!  I dig what I dig!)  It’s just that we’ve been recording such incredible stuff lately, I’m expect nothing less than chills when I hear a new beat.  The last song we recorded was done by none other than Mr. Andre 3000, so you already KNOW that joint is bananas.  To go back to songs that are just cool?  Naaaaahhhh….not looking forward to telling those people that, though.

And while we’re on the path of forward momentum/hot momentum, my birthday is a mere 68 days away!!!  Lol….that’s a minute, I know, but the celebrations will probably start November 1st.  I’ll celebrate the whole Scorpio season!  I’m about to start planning the shindig(s) and reaching out to my promo friends to see what I can do to make it fab and utterly hot.  Yeah, I’m throwing myself a damn party!  No one seems to be able to do me and my affairs better than me, so why not!?  I’m also gonna look into where I’m trying to go as far as a destination celebration.  Will it be Miami?  Will it be Vegas?  Will it be dolo, with friends, or a boo-up situation (lol)?  Only time will tell.  But I’m about to map it out right now.  Stay tuned….if you’re in Atlanta or Indianapolis, be on party alert   Oh, and if you are feeling generous (doubtful in this recession, but….)
