This is a song I’ve allllllwaaaaays wanted to cover. I’m sure one day, I will It’s “Head Over Feet” by Alanis Morissette. She is one of my favorite singer/songwriters and she, along with Faith Evans, (I know…they’re 2 totally different things!) is one of the main reasons why I even got interested in writing in the first place. Jagged Little Pill is still one of my favorite & most listened to albums to this day. I may have posted the video for this song before, but this is a live, acoustic version. Enjoy.

I’ve been going through my big book of CDs lately just immersing myself in my favorite music, so I’ll have plenty of flashbacks to post. But this particular song, I didn’t have to re-discover. This is one of my favorites, by one of my favorite songwriters, and I still have it on regular rotation in my ipod. Note to any producer reading this….I’ve been wanting to do a slower, slightly more “r&b” version of this for about 6 years now…make it happen! (lol). Miss Alanis Morissette, “Head Over Feet.”
