So, seems like oxfords are the in-coming new thing for the ladies, if you choose to go the flats route. I for one am a fan of a sky-high heel (I loooove being 6 feet tall!) and when I DO wear flats, it’s usually a funky sneaker or a slouch boot. So I’m a lil funny on the Oxford. Something seems a little corny about them, unless they are as cute as these by Kimchi Blue.
Of course Urban Outfitters isn’t selling them anymore. Siiiigh. But I’ll be on the lookout for something similar anyway. They’d be super cute with a loose tank and a really tight mini.
Luuuuvin’ this spread from W Magazine titled Art and Commerce. Styling is dope. Photography’s dope. And the blonde model is serving! More inspiration…it’s always a good thing.

Yummmtastic! I don’t think I’ve ever paid attention to Pierre Hardy heels because I hear “Hardy” and think Ed Hardy. And when I hear Ed Hardy, I think Barfasaurus Rex (lol). But anyhooo….clearly these babies are not hood fab or gaudy. They’re quite delicious, actually.
They also have Men’s apparel and accessories. I can dig it!
One of my favorite fashionistas/artists/designers, Gwen Stefani, showed off her new collection of LAMB wear a few days ago at Mercedes Benz Spring Fashion Week. Here are a few of my favorite looks….though I’d wear just about everything that I saw
Ever since I got my hands on my first issue of Vogue many many years ago, I’ve had a lightweight obsession with couture. It’s one of the totally unnecessary things of life, but the beauty of it….it’s like wearable art. Masterpieces that have jumped off canvas and can be paraded down a runway. Poetry. In. Motion. And one of the best to give us that fantasy land was Alexander McQueen.
I’ve said for a long time now that when my time came & when it was my turn to traipse down the Red Carpets of the Grammys, MTV Video Awards, AMAs and such-I wouldn’t want to look like a debutante. I’d want to rock something that spoke of my feisty personality, my very creative visions, and my quirkiness. All while still looking beautiful and sexy. The designer choice was easy…”I’ll have Alexander McQueen on my back!” I said. (check a previous blog-proclaimation of this HERE) I’ve stuck with that thought forever- that he’d personally design for me- but now that will never be.
Ok, yall know Bebe is one of my favorite stores! I know it isn’t Gucci, Louis or Prada. As a matter of fact they do “knock off” versions of most of the hi-end hot items. But they do a damn GOOD “knock-off” because it doesn’t look cheap (hell, it aint really cheap! It’s just cheaper. My Balmain re-do’s….I paid $180 instead of $1500. Later, you could’ve found a horrific version for like $40.) I feel like Bebe is a “Middle Class Fly Chick’s Oasis”
Well the Kardashian sisters have teamed up with Bebe and made a collection. I’ve gotta say, the pieces are really cute and I see them in it for sure! Here are my 3 favorite looks.
Knit Cut Out Dress, $98
Silk Jumpsuit, $129
Belted Wrap Dress, $119
I’ve been able to avoid Bebe for a little while now (lol) but I may have to make a trip soon. Pretty much the entire collection is fly! You can view the entire LookBook by clicking here: KARDASHIAN COLLECTION. Get that money, Kim, Khloe & Kourtney!
