Still on randomness…

Forgive me Father, for I have (blog) sinned. It has been daaays since my last blog entry. Shame on me!!! But I’ve been running around and haven’t had the time/opportunity/attention-span to sit and write anything. But you, my lovely readers, were not forgotten. As a matter of fact, I want to give a big fat THANKS to all of you who keep coming back as well as all the new readers. My hits are going up, up, up! Yaaay I’m almost ready to celebrate the one year anniversary of The Makings of Mylah, and I promise, the goal is to make bigger, more interesting, and even more personal. If that’s possible (tee hee).

Let’s see…last Tuesday, I went to the Feng Shui event at Sambuca and saw one of my old friends from NYC I hadn’t seen in years! He used to dance and do choreo for me. He was at Sambuca singing with his group 718.

Wednesday I went to one of the beautiful Atlanta W Hotels to their Wonderlust Series hosted by BMC. Gavin DeGraw performed, and though I missed some of the show, what I saw was extra dope. I didn’t take any pix of the performance, but of course I got flicks with the homies…

Thursday we hit up Door 44. THAT was a special and long night. Lots of adventure (lol). I haven’t uploaded those photos yet and I’m not quite sure who was event shooting that night. Of welllllls….

After that night, the weekend was kinda a blur. But I did a crazy photoshoot Sunday morning with Mike Cooke (M!keDesigns…check em out at www.MDSGstudios.com). It was a full body-paint shoot. I’m actually about to look at the images as soon as I finish blogging, but here’s a preview he sent me last night. Screen capture….
