One is Rich Girl, who’s currently recording, and um, this is Melrose’s main competition- Electrik Red, signed to Def Jam. I say main ’cause they’re signed and kinda on the promo trail already, so they’re a half step ahead of Melrose and Rich Girl (in practical terms). This is called “Drank In My Cup.” I’ll say this, they’re really cute and snatched than a mug, but uhhhh….yeah, I’ll let yall speak on it.

It’s definitely a banger for them hype moments in your car, though
I like the track, and I like the sound of the verses, that airy-type sound is kinda cute.
But umm…. Yeah.. I don’t know (lol).
I’ll have to give it a 7, just because it can get you hype.
Rich girl are dope can’t denie but I haven’t heard no sloe songs by them yet so time will tell, and as for the other they can’t seeing n they ain’t that cute there just video hoes wit a record deal, and as for melrose, u on da top of the chain right now I mean beauty and the voices r so sick true talent so ya’ll shouldn’t have nothing to worry bout, but check out "Sophia Fresh" those r some bad chicks singned to nappy boy do yeah melrose number 1 sophia fresh number 2 then rich girls…

I just heard another song from electrik red… I just can’t get into them, they have no talent to me, they ain’t even singin bout nothin, I mean 1 or two songs talkin bout gettin it n the club or wat not is cool but they ain’t even classy about it… now “get it goin” is da jam how a song should sound…

this group is definately fresh and i like the direction, they could really be big if they can connect with the consumer and set trends as far as image goes..
they arent the best vocally, but the sound/image is very edgy and risky, so i can respect someone who takes a chance, and they are doing just that.
Richgirl is dope!! i love the sound/style Rich Harrison created for them, i remember hearing the demos of all of those songs back in 2005/2006 with Rich’s voice on em, after the girls cut the songs, they brought em 2 life. I have 2 see more of them tho, i havent seen a live performance, video or interview 2 get a real feel for them and there chemistry. they are pretty and can sing tho!…
we will see what the consumers/tastemakers say…
Melrose is my favorite tho, i can listen to them (vocally) all day, they dont need fancy production or quirky arrangements or a celebrity endorsement becuz they have IT ALL (looks, vocals, songs) sooo, i cant wait 2 hear more material….the 1st song i remember hearing about was 4th of never over a year ago, and i still love that song! its very refreshing 2 hear great singers over a musical track.
SOMEONE GIVE THEM A DEAL IN THE 1ST QUARTER OF 2009 OR I WILL BE UPSET, it dont make no sense to have the total package but not be available for the public to enjoy fully…

I love Melrose and look forward to their project. The other groups aren’t doing it for me… is Toni still on board, I’ve noticed you and Kelee be doing a lot of shows without her, is it because the two of you are closer as far as friendship goes. Y’all must click really well…
